Our Classified Announcements section provides a "classified ad" section for special announcements that are not related to a calendar date but rather are ongoing or non-date related, such as curriculum for sale by owner (see note at bottom**).
To submit a free announcement to be posted in our Classified Announcements, submit a short summary of your details to us at editor@chocboard.net and we will be happy to assist you with your write up and placement.
Classified Announcements are classified according to the subject matter they relate to:
Core Subjects (English, Math, History, Science)
Curriculum for Sale (business specials and used for sale by individuals)
Homeschool Highschool & Teens
Homeschool Friendly Businesses (including homeschooler-owned businesses)
Homeschool Support & Testing (including homeschool teacher resources)
Foreign Languages
Music & Fine Arts
Physical Fitness & Sports
Special announcements will remain on our board until either their expiration date has passed or until the end of the current current school year.
**Singular events, that have a specific date (are date related) such as a support group meeting, or the Museum Pioneer days, or a two-day workshop, etc., should be submitted to our Community Events Calendar.
A yellow page type listing about your group's opportunities that carries over from one year to the next should go in either our Directory of Local Activities or Directory of Local Resources .
