The Next ECD Ball by Miss Laura Plett's "Set to Music" dance club is:

The August Ball at Champoeg!

You are invited to Emma’s Box Hill Picnic and Ball!

Friday, August 6th, 2010

The picnic will start at 12:30 p.m., and the ball itself will run from 3:30-7:00 p.m.

$15 per person or $30 per family.

For dancers ages thirteen through adult.

Come for a delightful excursion into the Regency period at the historic Champoeg State Heritage Area!  Not only will there be dancing, there will also be a potluck picnic beforehand!

Attire:  Regency.  Keep in mind that this is an outdoor ball - we will be dancing under a pavillion, but the weather, as always, is beyond control.  So don’t wear your bestest best ballgown - think more “summer dress”.

Please bring a potluck dish to share.

Since this dance venue is a bit smaller than usual, the number of dancers will be limited to 120.

Space may fill up sooner than normal.

Note:  This ball will take place in a State Park, and so there is a day-use fee per vehicle of $5.

Also note that this ball is on a Friday instead of a Saturday...
