Local Homeschool Support Groups
Although each homeschooling family must steward their family individually before the Lord, we at the CHOC Board encourage you to reach out to each other face to face. Too much isolation and internet substitution for personal contact can provide a breeding ground for frustration and despair.
Homeschooling is about building relationships, and support groups can offer an opportunity to steward your children in Christ-like relational skills with others in your homeschool community.
The following groups provide support meetings and various activities to help Christian homeschoolers connect and support one another. If you would like ideas about how to set up your own support group, please see our articles in our Setting Up Co-Op Groups section. For additional support for homeschool support leaders, please see our page Homeschool Leader Support.
